Building a new way of engaging with the night.

Noctura began as an inquiry into astrotourism and dark sky conservation, and has evolved into a platform for nighttime education, training and immersive experiences. Our approach is grounded in scientific understanding and creative interpretation, informed by work with the International Astronomical Union’s Office of Astronomy for Development, DarkSky International, and DarkSky Kenya. This foundation shapes our commitment to preserving natural darkness and using night-based tourism for ecological and cultural renewal.
Since 2019, we’ve worked across conservation, night-sky guiding, and astrotourism to develop tools and experiences that make natural darkness accessible while encouraging its protection. Today, we invite people from all backgrounds to encounter the night as a living system. Through guide training, collaborative research and place-based programs, we’re building awareness of the nocturnal world and promoting responsible solutions to preserve darkness.
